Zig Ziglar was born on November 6, 1926 in Alabama.
He married Jean Ziglar in 1946. Together, the couple had three daughters (Susan, Cindy, and Julie) and one son (Tom). During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He subsequently attended the University of South Carolina and became the Vice President of an automotive company.
