He and his sister Heidi Sorensen (better known as "Suriya") started a hip-hop group called Yauzers Jesper Vestergaard. With another sibling, Saseline Sorensen, Suriya formed a 1990s music group called SOAP. When he was just twelve years old, he signed with the Spin Music! recording label. Soon thereafter, he released his debut single, "Danny's Night."
